This Cookie Policy explains how CareCircle ("CareCircle," "we," "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on carecirclehq.io, daycare portal subdomains and custom domains, and related tools (the "Service"). It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. "Local storage" is a similar browser feature that keeps small pieces of information on your device.
2. We only use necessary cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in, protect the Service, and process payments. On our public marketing website (carecirclehq.io, such as the home, pricing, and contact pages) we also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use those pages. Analytics is not used inside the app or on daycare portals, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We do not sell information collected through cookies.
3. Cookies we set

Sign-in cookies are set for the host you sign in on (for example, your daycare's portal) and are not shared with other daycares' portals.
4. Third-party cookies
On pages where you add or use a card or bank account, our payment processor Stripe sets its own necessary cookies to process the payment securely and to detect and prevent fraud. Stripe's use is described in the Stripe Cookies Policy.
On our marketing website, Google Analytics sets the cookies below to count visits and measure which pages are used. Google processes this data as described in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

5. Local storage
We use your browser's local storage for conveniences on your own device, such as remembering that you have seen an in-app guide or keeping items in your enrollment cart. This information is not used to track you.
6. Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the sign-in and payment cookies above, you will not be able to sign in or make payments through the Service. You can opt out of Google Analytics on any website with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on; blocking the analytics cookies does not affect the Service.
7. Changes
If we start using other cookies, we will update this Policy with a new "last updated" date and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
